Lighthouse
Same as solitude, different that the Sun
How could things have revolved around the one?
To be taken away ever so slowly in a trance
Not knowing it was simply an unearthly dance
As light came back to me in more than one way
I realize that it was more than an unwelcome play
To not follow the northern winds on a voyage to stay
A mark on the stone cleaved for a time now away
How could the seas bring forth such waves?
Perhaps it is more to ask for a keep that stays
When tempest pummel the shores with their rage
A lighthouse would stand tall with a solemn vow
To not let the wary vessels lose again their way
