Luminous
Late in the day, yet on time for the night
When the sun gives way to its family to shine
A star-lit sky that stretches to the infinite
And here I am with you, gazing in wonder
How many stars have we counted? We do not know
Yet we found one another free on this world to roam
At this time and place made sacred between us two
As I get to swim with you the vast oceans blue
Some say that it is not possible to find such an emotion
That it is not bound to the world in constant motion
Yet all it takes is one moment without hesitation
To find oneself in an ethereal incantation
Where you and I are together as one
